General Rental Rate

For Corporate and For Profit Events:

Single Date (subject to availability - cannot be assigned before 45 days of requested days) $1500

Community Partner Rate (Non Profit)

Rental rate does not include staff labor. We value our artists and all our staff. Bindlestiff personnel are skilled and experienced in all our equipment and space, and we value their time and labor.

Bindlestiff technical staff requires a $35 an hour fee per staff member. This includes board operation, lighting and sound design.

If your production requires changes to the existing general set up, a fee of $35 an hour per staff member will be added to the rental fees. This includes set up and reset, changing the risers, adding or removing curtains, and changing the grid for lighting and/or speakers.

Live streaming and/or recording will also require a $35 an hour fee per personnel. Renters are welcome to hire or enlist volunteers for these positions.

Box Office and usher staff will require a $20 an hour fee. Renters are welcome to hire or enlist volunteers for these positions.

Permitted Uses: Rehearsals, Performances, Class/instruction, Auditions, Showings/showcases, Photo/film/video shoots, Special events/parties, Literary readings, and Meetings/workshops.

Restrictions On Use: Unfortunately, under the conditions of our lease with SFRA, the sales and distribution of alcohol is prohibited.

Rental Policy: Bindlestiff Studio is primarily rented weekly for theatrical productions. Shorter term uses may be available upon request.

Booking Requirements: Deposit, Full payment, On-site meeting, and Proof of liability insurance are required.
