“If this is your first time here, welcome home. If you’ve been here before, welcome back!”
Stories High XXV celebrates 25 seasons of welcoming folks to the theater many creatives call home - Bindlestiff Studio. The anniversary show maintains a beloved tradition of bringing six stunning original short plays of love, loss and liberation to the Bindlestiff stage. Featuring a talented cohort of first-time creatives, emerging artists and Bindlestiff veterans, Stories High continues to be a warm introduction (or return) to the Bindlestiff community.
2025 marks the 25th iteration of Bindlestiff Studio’s page-to-stage workshop series that has fostered the creative talents of local Filipinx American community and beyond since the 1990s. With each season, Bindlestiff invites creatives of all levels to participate in the Stories High workshops to learn new skills in theatre writing, directing or acting. These workshops culminate in a staged production of selected short plays for participants to collaborate with their cohort and practice newly polished skills.
This anniversary production also serves as a timely opportunity to give back to Bindlestiff Studio, with all proceeds going back to the organization to sustain unique artist-cultivating programs like Stories High at an affordable rate to the community. As the saying goes at Bindlestiff, “If this is your first time here, welcome home. If you’ve been here before, welcome back.”
Spread the word, buy your tickets and celebrate 25 seasons of coming home to Bindlestiff Studio this September at Stories High XXV.
